Cryptography & FHE
Elliptic-curve systems (BLS-12-381), fully homomorphic encryption (TFHE-rs programmable bootstrapping), noise management and scheme integration into real architectures.
Cryptography, consensus protocols, GPU/FPGA/DSP kernels. I analyze, debug, optimize and invent algorithms — in C++/Rust — for teams that have hit the ceiling of “add more engineers” or “sacrifice more spend to the AGI”.

Services
Elliptic-curve systems (BLS-12-381), fully homomorphic encryption (TFHE-rs programmable bootstrapping), noise management and scheme integration into real architectures.
Proof-of-stake design and implementation, fork engineering inside C++ clients, C++↔Rust FFI, smart contracts and wallet architecture. Blockchain as one tool among many — not a religion.
When the off-the-shelf approach is too slow or simply doesn't exist: scheduling, routing, search, combinatorial and financial-math problems — analyzed and re-derived from first principles.
OpenCL/CUDA kernels, runtime kernel generation, constant folding and unrolling, FFI performance work, and the profiling that proves it.
Real-time tempo/beat detection from raw PCM, audio pipelines on iOS and desktop, and the math that makes real-time actually real.
Native and cross-platform apps for iPhone/iPad, macOS and Android. Audio, real-time and algorithm-heavy products on shared C++ cores (Core Audio / Audio Units on Apple platforms), with the native layer in Objective-C or Java where it pays and cross-platform C++ where it doesn't — from component libraries to store-ready apps.
Selected work
Consensus · 2017–19 · 5.0★
Replaced proof-of-work with an original proof-of-stake protocol over the BLS-12-381 curve inside a C++ Ethereum client, with a Rust library bridged over C++↔Rust FFI. The chain reached mainnet in 2019.
GPU · 2011
An ESA Summer-of-Code-in-Space OpenCL FFT library with a runtime kernel generator — full unrolling, in-register temporaries, constant folding — with FFTW3/MKL/OpenCL backends.
DSP · 1999–present
Built the first BPM analyzer that was accurate and efficient: real-time tempo detection on arbitrary music from raw PCM, with no genre or drum-pattern constraints. Shipped as products and a licensable SDK.
Applied math
Automated solar-panel roof placement (client re-hired), a live chess-tournament scheduler, shortest-route optimization, HL7/health-architecture consulting across six contracts, and financial optimization work — small, load-bearing algorithms in production.

About
I've been building software since 1992 and working for myself since 2009. My training is in mathematics and engineering — BSc Civil Engineering and MSc Computer Science at Ghent University, followed by PhD-track research in automatic parallelization.
The through-line of my career is hard algorithms: audio DSP before it was mainstream, GPU kernel generation, FPGA mining hardware, consensus cryptography, and fully homomorphic encryption. I'm a UK military veteran and run my practice through Infinite Fields Limited, registered in England and Wales.
